Join Abbie for her Junior Degree Recital! This is one of two recitals she will be performing that will count towards her degree.
Potomac Chapter 2023 Quimby Solo Organ Recital
This organ recital will feature prominent composers for the organ, like Charles Marie-Widor, Rachel Laurin, J. S. Bach, etc. Improvisations by Abbie will also be featured! There will be 30-45 minutes of solo repertoire before a wonderful Epiphany Evensong, and all are welcome to attend!
Solo Organ Recital
Join Abbie for an organ recital in preparation for the 2023 Regional Quimby Competition! Featured pieces will be Dan Locklair’s Rubrics: IV. “The Peace May Be Exchanged”, J. S. Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in G Major (BWV 541), Rachel Laurin’s Symphony I: ii. Scherzo, and Henri Mulet’s Esquisses Byzantines: Tu es Petra. There will also be the hymn “Christ is Made the Sure Foundation” for the audience to sing to! All are welcome to come and enjoy!
